Dear Mom, Having / Fantastic & marvelous time / in [soviet insignia of card left visible] Moscow & vicinity / Everyday has / absolutely every minute taken up, seeing things, / places, people, eating, / drinking Vodka. Could use a bit more sleep. / Otherwise great & exciting. / We visited the country / 50 miles E. of Moscow / today. We are staying / in a small city tonight / called Vladimir. Beautiful. / The trains are as trains / should be. Cold. Snowing / all afternoon. Love, Phil & Richard
