The means of the artist (but I should speak for myself) are loss of temper, despair, and luck. By [strikethrough] these means [/strikethrough] them I can occasionally make what, at least temporarily, looks [strikethrough] to use [/strikethrough] right to me. Eventually I would hope to employ more respectable means.
Occasionally [strikethrough] with paint by lucky accident and usually through [/strikethrough] but by despairing measures or luck I can make what, at least temporarily, looks [strikethrough] like a painting. [/strikethrough] right [strikethrough] in the way a painting should. [/strikethrough] to me in painting. But with words [strikethrough] seem inflexible and for me [strikethrough] will always [/strikethrough] stand at odds with one another. [/strikethrough]
