December 1972

Dear Dick Dear Phyllis;

Thank you for such a pleasant evening at your pretty house. It was so kind of you both to go through that with such grace when you were feeling not up to par.

Sure hope that you are both fully recovered and feeling ready to enjoy Christmas and the fresh new year.

Allan Stone and his wife were thrilled to meet you both and that must be something when New Yorkers can still be excited. They told everyone about you and the fine restaurant all through the rest of the trip and when he found three of Dick's paintings in the John Berggruen Gallery in SF. He bought all of them! He also liked the S.F. Museum showing very much.

Now –––––––––––––– when will you come to see us? and if you can't get to Sacramento let us know when you have an exhibition to circulate around S.F. and it would be fun to meet you there.

In the meantime thanks again and do have a great new 1973.

Love

Wayne
