Description
The archival image shows a poster from the artist's 1964 exhibition Drawings by Richard Diebenkorn at Stanford University Art Gallery, which Diebenkorn partially painted over to make the image. Catalogue raisonné nos. 3489–3493 also used the poster as a substratum.
