Description
This is one of six drawings Diebenkorn made as emblems protesting the Vietnam war (see cats. 3970 through 3972, 3974, and 3975). He also created an anti-Vietnam war painting in 1966 for the Los Angeles Artists' Protest Committee (cat. 3650).
